DrawLife is a one-bit drawing tool and a cellular automata simulator. Click and drag on the canvas to draw, or paste an RLE pattern into the text area and click "display". Then hit "run" to watch the image evolve according to the rulestring. Think of it as a math-y sand mandala .

You can generate a short link to your drawing, but it'll probably break at some point. So for extra security, click "encode" to generate an RLE, and save your image locally.

Pressing "run" produces high-contrast flashing images.
